Collingwood is our home. Growing up on a farm outside of town, we were taught the value of hard work at a young age — no matter how minuscule the job, always put your heart and soul into it. We were fortunate enough to learn from the best: our father, Scott Harrison, who has over 40 years of experience in construction and entrepreneurship.  It may be a surprise to some, but our first job was actually helping him on a roof when we were 12 years old. When the Blackmoor Gates opportunity came knocking years later, the Harrison family could not pass up an opportunity to work together and bring our expertise back to our hometown.

Blackmoor Gates is a pocket neighbourhood concept brought to us by Rob Voight, a visionary and forward-thinking man. The idea of building something lasting that gives back and allows the neighbourhood to thrive was our goal from day one. We want to promote a community that is about more than being geographically close to someone or part of the same social network; Blackmoor Gates is about feeling connected to your surroundings. After all, humanity is our ultimate community, and each and everyone plays a crucial role.
